Wagyu beef steak recommendation

Oh.. Paiseh..

Well for non-wagyu... I do quite like Lawry's, although I prefer something chunkier normally. Morton's is too ex to go even on a yearly basis though (no they don't have wagyu either)

People complain abt Jack's, but at least they managed to give me what I wanted most of the time..

Outback - yikes, ask for medium, I get very well done!!! Never again. Anyway, I doubt they got waygu, and if they do, I do hope they know what they are doing... I won't even want to try it.

Somehow.. most pple oni talked abt how well-done is the meat..

No one mentioned abt the marbling ar? isn't it what pple look for in wagyu beef as compared to ordinary steak....?

My vote goes to Angus at Takashimaya as well.
Outback is hopeless with steaks!

Yes, agree with you on Angus. Their standard has always been there. Price wise, I think it's much more worth it than Lawry's and Morton's.

Is there a place where we can get it wholesale? Can organize MO ;p
I think it will be cheaper and the cooking for wagyu is minimal since its the flavour of the beef that we are after. I'm thinking just a dollop of butter and a quick flash in the pan and its ready. yumyumyum
