Yes yes... we'll ask SP for the contact details and get a quote. Frankly, the black pepper crab (yup yup, not orang utan crab, hermit crab, anemone crab...) is a major attraction (sigh - we all so greedy ;p ). Then Beivied can also get a quote for MV V****** and we can compare and decide.

Frankly, if we want to do national day, have to book fast cos its a long weekend and bound to be super popular.

i got the quote already. but it is for a normal weekend. just called him, he will get back to me on the price for a long weekend.

hmm... hope i do not sound bad here, but we are trying to get only aowd divers, and min logged 20 dives. since we might plan to go on national day, if you actually plan to get your advance AND do another leisure trip... then ...

perhaps you should mention taht there are no guides. divers are expected to plan yr own dive profile and dives with their buddy. This will tell the newer divers and give them an idea how the trip is going to be like. People who can only dive with DMs will not join then.

thought waisj actually mentioned. but anyway, ya, no DMs, so it is a dive your own plan trip. and we are going the advanced dive sites, so some minimal experience and independence is necessary.

Kng or Waisj will check on the Kaleesbo and revert. BTW, it is not my lobang. Just following a freind of ours who cannot stop singing praises of this LOB on our last trip.

waisj will confirm for the pricing for the malaysian boat, while i await for the price of the singapore one.

eh .... so national day weekend hah? anyone prefer another date? if yes then it is fri-monday. we should dive aur on sat, then maybe travel to tioman and dive north side (tiger reef, golden reef, magicienne rock etc) and mon dive south side (bahara) on our way back .. or is it the other way round.... ;p

will we be able to do such an itinerary for the other boat?

Alamak, only got 16 dives logged inclusive of OW and AOW. However, will be going to Riau on the 11th of June, hopefully can log 5 dives there and just make the quota unless of course dives logged during course is not counted... ;p

In lieu of the advanced bookings, i think it is best that we have a back up plan on the dates and the boat. To my knowledge and some friends from the dive industry, the long weekend that we are suppose to be diving, the conditions will not be good. Furthermore, if i am not wrong, the boats will be more or less chartered or half chartered.

We will confirm the dates and boats as soon as possible.

In terms of cost, i would presume that most would prefer a short weekend since it is alot cheaper?

Do sound your opinions here, so as to facilitate the organizing of this shootout.

We will keep our options open, being it which ever boats we take, or dates, either long or short weekends.
