Use of tripod in Japan

Going to Japan soon and I know the use of tripod is restricted in some temples and shrines.
So any kind souls proficient in Japanese language can help me with this:

※写真撮影の際、一脚・三脚の使用は一部を除きご遠慮いただいておりますので、ご協力の程よろしくお願いします。
What I understand from online translation is that tripod is allowed just that one will have to exercise caution(be considerate and don't block people etc)?

※二の丸御殿内の写真・ビデオの撮影は禁止とさせていただきます。
また城内での一脚・三脚のご使用は御遠慮願います。

For the first line, seems like they are requesting monopod rather than tripod:

The case of photographic set-up, because modesty we have received the use of one leg tripod excluding part, about cooperation we ask may......

The 2nd line seems to tell you video & photo are not allowed inside the palaces or temple, similarly, use only monopod in all cases.

Photographing the photograph video inside two circular palaces prohibits.
In addition modesty you ask the use of one leg tripod inside the castle
