i'm glad you're enjoying your D60! :)
It's a really good camera.

Some people buy 50/1.8D and die-die must have auto-focus capability, or die-die need the top LCD + 2 dials (i'm one of them), and so on and so forth... then the urge to upgrade will come :) But for most photography, the D60 excels.

me using D80.
The 2 dials and top LCD allows me to quickly:
1) tweak white balance
- main dial selects the white balance mode
- front dial for fine adjustment, or selecting colour temperature in (K) mode

2) adjust bracketing
- main dial selects type of bracketing (2frame under/over, 3frame)
- front dial selects amount of over/under-exposure

3) flash EV
- main dial selects flash mode (slow, red-eye, etc)
- front dial selects flash EV amount

not to mention other things like:
1) AF motor
- I use 50/1.8, Tokina 12-24 1st version

2) Larger body - more comfortable. Middle, ring, and pinky fingers can all rest on the cam! :)

3) Flash commander - trigger my SB600

Since getting the D90, my pinky no longer suffers from cramps in the middle of the night. :bsmilie:
