Hi Stratix, what is that which you used to cover your 5D up? Looks like some black textured kind of tape?
For protection purpose?
Thank you in advance for enlightening me.
This is very nice.. Looks very used and very professional!
that would be gaffer tape. and yes, it is often applied for protection purposes.
thanks =)
Yupe. Thanks bro. Got the idea.in every sense of the word.
And well, I guess the keyword here is 'used'. Being 'used' reduces the risk of bringing attention to the equipment itself. And of couse being 'used', people would be more inclined to think of one as less newbie... haha!This is very nice.. Looks very used and very professional!
does it leave behind any residue when removed??
I do find it strange for people to tape up their camera like that? Why cover up it's beauty? Technically I see no diff in the price that you fetch between a camera tape up and one that is not. A used camera is a used camera no matter how taped up it is! May be you gain an extra $50 for the appearance, but you have also spend $50 on the tape and the time you spend to tape it.:think:
a badly banged up camera is really less then $50 bucks off, singaporeans are really a cosmetic bunch.
and $50 roll of tape can really last a lifetime. i've been using it for my camera(s), laptop, phone, mouse, and many many many more!
