Sony would like to invite ClubSNAP to join Sony Electronics at an intimate workshop on how to perfect that portraiture shot, conducted by wedding and portrait photographer Cai Dingyan.

To be held THIS SATURDAY 20th July from 10am to 12pm , “Perfecting Portraits” will also give ClubSNAP forum members the exclusive opportunity to test the highly anticipated premium Sony Carl Zeiss SAL50F14Z lens, ideal for quality-critical portraiture and low-light shooting.


Unfortunately, due to the size of the venue, SONY is limiting this to 20 people only

Sony has asked that those who attend to only bring an Alpha camera if they have, or use the cameras that will be supplied that day.

About the SAL50F14Z:
Featuring eight elements in five groups with two aspherical elements, the brand new optical design is optimised for superb results with Sony’s full-frame A99. Exceptional resolving power and contrast at all apertures are teamed with smooth, quiet autofocusing and a rear-focus system that maintains the same lens body length during AF. The dust- and moisture-resistant design extends the appeal of the new lens to a wide range of outdoor shooting applications.

Apart from the SAL50F14Z, there will be other portrait lenses that attending photographers can try out that day, along with Sony Alpha DSLT and NEX cameras such as the A99, A77, NEX-6 and NEX-7.
