This is a thread specially for you to list out all those things that made us look so stupid in the eyes of other nationals ......

1. Paying so much for COE to buy a car and then got nowhere to drive.
2. Paying premium for new models for DSLR and super L lens and then got nothing to shoot
3. Paying those models high fees when they can't even pose properly ....
4. C & C at beautifully executed photos with comment such as "Models very chio"...:bsmilie:

.... here to you ...

guess nothing beats this ...

make a lot of noise on building a crooked bridge and insisting to everyone that "it is within our rights". Building a CIQ building to near completion and starting to construct part of the bridge and then got to drop everything and say not building anymore ... to top it all off, give $100m as compensation to the builder of the crooked bridge ...

I think that not called for...

If they build the bridge, they might face engineering difficulties supplying water both ways when the bridge is "opened" to allow for shipping to pass through under it.

Hmm.. it all boils down to a lack of serious indepth detailed feasibility study into the project as a complete entity. :bsmilie:

Some big shot or influential group feels that it could be done; should be done and be done yesterday and the rest rush into agreement without too much thought :dunno:

Really? Are you sure about this? Is it so difficult to connect a railway line or a water pipe on a bridge? And nobody who is Singaporean has any nitpick on Singapore's national developments? For one, what about 'voting' on the casino?

Add one more: 5. Photographers entertaining companies who ask for free photoshoot on the condition of allowing you to beef up your portfolio but have to give them copies of all your photos...
