Hey, it was a one shot exposure. wipe lens, shoot, wipe lens, shoot. rinse and repeat haha. lots of spray at this area so probably one of the only shots without water drops i got. lol. will go back again when its autumn!

#22 Bramante Staircase

A pretty cool looking staircase in the Vatican Museum. Since they didn't allow tripods in a lot of the museums in Europe, it was hard/almost impossible to do long exposures. Even if I could do a long exposure, plenty of people would still be in frame, as they were standing around happily clicking their shutters and snapping selfies. I waited and waited and waited and waited and there was ONE MOMENT. Click haha done. Hope you all like it.

5 Reasons why I miss San Francisco
1. The weather is awesome. Just the right mix of sun and wind chill. You never appreciate the balmy weather till u lose it
2. Gastronomical treats in SF are tops. The Dimsum is unbeatable!
3. Tax. How I get to work my brain every time I want to buy something I have to add 9.75% to the retail price.
4. The need for speed. Driving 65 mph on a freeway got me road rage cos I was driving too slowly (speed limit in Oregon is 55mph btw)
5. Finally, of cos a place is awesome when the company is awesome.

This trip has been filled with extremely unpredictable weather and also extremely hard to shoot conditions. Whenever I see the sun, I try to make the best out of it. The sunlight that morning hitting the icebergs was awesome and I happened to see some golden light reflecting off the black sand and scrambled around trying to look for a comp for it on the beach with no footprints. Proven to be the greatest challenge EVER to find ANYWHERE without footprints.
