ok, maybe i didn't make myself clear. It was cold, i set up my cam on the tripod and shot with long exposure, since it was dark.(walked back to the car to hide haha). The pic was taken around 530am when it's still dark so tat' why the bluish color.

what's the WB?
 

Why do u need a mid range DSLR? From your pics, i can see, you take great pics with what you have.

i'm facing some constrain with visualisation through a small viewfinder. also would like a better ISO function and double dial system like that in D200. these are critical functions for a camera body that impacts directly on speed of control. the faster i can handle it, the more comfortable i am with shooting with people. i haven't really touch on certain genres yet, for example models and indoors.
