brother, I just got a 300mm Jiao lens. I saw some big jiaos this morning ( really big ones ). We also saw eagles flying with a fish at the crawl ( Falconite caught the action ! ). Must re-visit the beach again..

All the sunrise shoots are taken from the right-side of the jetty ( facing the sea ). At about 8am ( no sunrise ), we start pack our things and then move along the coast ( left side of the jetty ).

Did not capture the sunrise... so might as well go after the sunset... no choice.... hiyaa

just a question, what is your definition of a sunrise? (i hope this does not sound provocative).. my definition is just simply, the period when the sun rises, where there is change in color in the sky.. does not mean have to have sun coming out in full glory.

must have gotten up quite early eh, unless got car.

300mm is in liao.. okie.. i still have a 400mm Leica... old boat still got some weight in the nails.... wahaaa Let go tomorrow .. who scare who?

Well.. like eating an egg... sunny side up meant.. u have to have the yoke in the sky... illum the surrounding sky in the hues of red, pink orange and pushing the blues into persepctive...

hmmm... most of us ( including me ) defines sunrise as seeing the big orange ball rising from the sea ( I suppose ). However, I do understand what you are trying to put across.

I ride a bicycle and reach the jetty at 6:30am ( I am staying in Punggol itself ). I have watched the sky color tone change ( from Orange -> dark blue -> light blue .... ) very very nice....

Yeh.. threatened by acpack of dogs. Counted and there were 9 of them... Understood that they are always there and a fren just warned us prior to the visit. Well lucky for us, Sims002 is a dog tamer...he extended his tripod onto his head and walked steadily towards the dog. Well that worked!! for us today that is....

Yeh.. threatened by acpack of dogs. Counted and there were 9 of them... Understood that they are always there and a fren just warned us prior to the visit. Well lucky for us, Sims002 is a dog tamer...he extended his tripod onto his head and walked steadily towards the dog. Well that worked!! for us today that is....

Ya ya ya ~ That time only 2 of us (me and my friend) were walking towards the MRT track, and the moment we walk near, at least 4 of them come up to us~ I was kinda scared (cos i was wearing a red jersey and not sure if dogs got anything against red ;p) but my friend told me, just walk, don't run, cos the moment we run, sure kanna. And funny enough, the dogs just barked and stopped following the moment we walk under the track. And err, we no tripod leh... Haha, guess got to use Sims002's method next time.

Sims002 philosophy was borrowed from "God must be crazy" movie... some animal fear u when u look taller... (in some cases, bigger, longer etc.)
