I have a noob question wrt macro for the bros here...can see that dr jawzsg is shooting with big aperture resulting in shallow DOF...would it be better if the shot is taken with smaller aperture so that all the details are clearly seen? what is the norms for macro shooters? just wanna learn, TIA...:think:

Err.. macro if u shoot at F4 and F16 will have different effects. Depending on what u want to portray but not restriction to the apeture actually. But if u want a deadly clarity bro, u already say it loh... small aperture and the shoot the toipic as flat as possible...
