Nice! I also sold my macro converter few days back. Hee...
I also tot of getting the tianya box filter but then i personally have a CPL and a ND8 liao so dun really need tat set. Tat set has quite average reviews. Its a good start for amateurs using filters but do to an extent have an impact in terms of image qual. Might wan to consider Cokin.

Cokin always no stock. The bloody GND is hard to get. I go CP, AP and john 3:16 abt four times w.in the last 3 mths everytime no stock!!!
Thinking of asking gerald bro help me to get from MS colour. Since there seem to have stock.

Any one used this gaget before ? I am thinking of getting one of this so that I can convert my slides to digital image quickly... scanner is slow and the file size is huge !

I also first time see this thingy...
You suppose to mount your slides onto the bracket, then place the item facing an even lighted source. You then attach this entire thing to a 52mm thread lens. ( most people will use a cheap MF Nikkor 50mm F/1.8 ).
You then shoot the slides and you should be able to get digital images. Other options are using a film scanner or scan bed, but these options normally produce very huge files , slow, and is also subjected to some "glass" wave lines after scanning.
I still find those Velvia producing better colors than our DSLR..

yes, I saw it also... but not sure if the quality after the conversion is good enough...
Approach for meetup, take one of your slide and your camera...and try loh
