oo... the sun is too hot when it come to second outfit... so we stand under the shade lor...
Notice that western people cannot stand the hot sun.

First outfit, the sun light direct to her face
Second outfit, under shade
Third outfit is the real fun. We go inside the building shoot. So she got more smile :bsmilie:

I did 3 Russian gal b4..
even you do 3-6pm session ontop of Gold reflector rite?
you need to adjust your exposure and setting la...

under the shade can give alot of effect... trust me.. i did 6 session with IVan..

My 2 cents....I find this one , composition a little bit tight.( take 3 steps backwards and let the girl have more space to breadth....)

Hmm... Thanks for the suggestion. What about the position? How far do you think should I place the girl on the right after taking a few step back? This seems to be one of the toughest.

errr. tough question indeed...

actually, in photography there is no right or wrong lah.. most will suggest that you place at the 1/3 position ... but I usually don't do that.. Just my personal opinion..

Your title is ALONE... which means to me that you are trying to show the fact that the girl is ALONE in a crowded place. I think you should even move further away. That will give the picture a more crowded feeling and incontrast to that , a girl with a backlighting sitting alone by the river. That will most suit the theme.... this is purely my preference..... what do you think?

Billy is right.. there is no right or wrong for photography...
but its the first feel/ expression when we look at the photo... its feelling smooth thru the eye level.. balance... ( composition..) since you present it.. "ALONE" which mean.. you have to give the " Alone " feel la...
chim :bsmilie:

Too close or too far - sometime works.. something dont...
shoot more and try.. see if its smooth at your eye lever when you look at the photo..
if you feel this is the one~? this is the one!!!

next time will check immediately

I try to visualize it. Yup. It seems better. At first, I thought I am not near enough. I kept moving nearer instead of going backwards. I felt that something was missing. Anyway, it was not possible because there were other people nearby.

However, I got a new insight. I should shoot with the other people around her; the people and couples on her left and right. Then she would look really alone... Is it? hmmm...

This shoot i only adjust the setting when i notice that the shuttle speed number is smaller than the focal length :D

Exposure wise, i tot with the reflector everything will be fine :bsmilie:

Hehe. Learning. Sometimes, "alarm" spoilt. Feel that something is wrong but cannot see what is it.
