I'm planning a trip to taiwan this year end and intend to include Green Island in my itinerary upon arrival and am looking for some recommendations as there seem to be limited literature about the island on the net.
As i will be arriving in TPE around 1500hrs, i was thinking i could head straight down to taitung to spend the night before taking a ferry over to Green Island the following morning. Is this a good arrangement - considering the train schedule available?
Also,
1. Any recommended stays at Tai Tung and Green Island?
2. Has anyone been to Green Island during december (first week), was the weather ok?
3. How strict are they on the rental of scooters on green island, since i dont have a license.
