first time posting in this forum.

just want to share something i snapped today.

the sunset was really magnificent today.

hope i did the sunset some justice with my photos.

do critique and comment.

:)

looks perfect to me. great colors & atmosphere and use of rule of thirds.
congrats!

Warm welcome to you.

Nice shot. Love the colours and the details of the clouds. With such a lovely sky, I would have preferred a wider shot to include more of the sky... But thats just my preference.:)

same i love this shot but if it was to be wider hmm would be better but nice shot anyway

thanks all for the comments and encouragements!

when i re-looked at the photo again, it does look a little too cramped. this was taken at 24mm.

i had a shot that was taken at 18 (the widest that my kit lens would allow me to) but there was too much of the sea.

haha.

the weather has been late of late. i went to changi boardwalk again today. i'll see if i can find any nice pics to post here.

thanks again all.

another shot taken today.

there were less puffy clouds today. as such the sky seems less textured. although the 'redness' of it even after the sun has set, continues to amaze me.

did you use a filter? or you adjusted the colors? very nice atmosphere.
personally i dun think they need any more improvements.

Nice

no filter. just tweaked the curve a little in lightroom.

thanks all for commenting.

I like the second shot compared to the first one. Nice use of tree to give a sillhoute effect.
First should could have been composed in such a way to avoid the distractions(hut and tree leaves) in the left.

thanks tvs for the comments.

i guess for the first shot i wanted to have some object to frame the sky with.

as vivid the sky is, it'll be rather plain if not for some foreground elements.

:)
