Hmm..u mean the size of this group? If yes, no limit..Join as u wish anyway though its a big group we will try to keep our noise level low so as not to disturb other photographers with their shooting.

Y 730? Cos I can't wake up that early loh..ha!

It opens at 7AM on Sundays. :) Sometimes the guard is there even earlier.

Taking about lens ranges.

i know for fact that from the viewing decks a 400 with a 2x is hardly enough,
unless we are down by the edge of the mangrove...

would this be a very diverse group?

Personally my longest arsenal is just a 100-300 with a 1.4X TC...I know there are guys in the group with 500mm and above lens.

Well..there are more things to shoot there, macro, landscape or some even say IR. Probably It will be good to have ur longest lens there but not a must.

Since it's not a small group. I dun expect all of us to stick together...Its good to segregate into groups of 3-4...I mean we can't get lost right? Can we? Ha :)

well....... i guess this is jus a nice getting together shoot........ for people who never went to SB b4... but wan to go... well, this is yur chance.... to go wif like minded people.........

cos going alone a bit sian rite somemore wif more people.. mosquitoes will not just attack u alone lah.... hahaha

anyway... we can but the insect repellant there,... so no worries lah.. jus dun wear shorts and t-shirts lor.. open bait leh.....

A few tips for those who are going SBWR:

1. On Sundays and public holidays, if you are going by public transport, take bus 925 from Kranji MRT which comes every 20mins. Taxi fare from the MRT is $5+. On other days, the bus stops short at the Kranji Dam carpark.

2. On weekends and holidays, the hides may not be suitable because there are bound to be other people around who may not keep as quiet or still as you.

3. Go early (<0830hrs) for free entry. Also free on weekdays.

4. Look out for wild boars near the entrance. Another subject to shoot !

5. A pair of binoculars is very useful for spotting and identifying the birds.
