Beginners Outing(Part 38) is here!

Details:

Date:6 November(Its a SATURDAY!!!)
Time:7.45/8/8.30am till 12/1pm
Place:Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve(Neo Tiew Road)
Who can/should join:Anyone(Beginner or Pro)with a camera!Be it a P&S,Prosumer,DSLR or Rangefinder!
Entrance feelease take note that SBWR charges a $1 entry fee for adults and $0.50 for child/students/senior citizens

Things to bring:

1)Camera
2)Lens(es)(If its a DSLR)
3)Water
4)Umbrella<-----Bring those that will protect you from the rain.Not those for strobist types...
5)Tripod/Monopod(Optional)

Important criteria you must meet:

For Point and shoot/prosumer camera users,your zoom must be more than 400mm(Fujifilm HS-10/etc...)

For DSLR users with a crop frame of 1.5x,your zoom/prime must be more than 270mm(18-270/55-300/100-400/etc...)

For DSLR users with a crop frame of 1.6x,your zoom/prime must be more than 250mm(18-250/55-300/100-400/etc...)

For FULL-FRAME DSLR users,your zoom/prime must be more than 400mm(100-400/400/500/600/800/etc...)

*Cos SBWR birds tend to be quite far away,we need a zoom that is at least 400mm.Please PM me if you're not sure of the above...

**SBWR is also a nice place for insect macro.Anyone who wants to come along to shoot macro are welcome.But sorry,i am not a macro shooter so please dun ask me anything about macro...

Things you will/might expect to shoot:

1)Birds
2)Other residents in SBWR(Insects/Monitor lizards)
3)Insects

How the outing goes:

We'll meet at Kranji MRT and either tompang those who are driving or take taxi to SBWR and shoot till 11/12+ where we'll break for lunch...

Meeting location/time:

As we do not want mystery guests to turn up,exact meeting location will be announced thru PM 2 days before the outing.
