not sure, but in this thread, this topic. it does not really matter. there are other cases as well.
that how i know of CS! a blogger pose nude & put the pics on website, reported in newspapers (ST) years back. :bsmilie:
FHM case or not, CS like other forums are open to the public so it would not be suprising to find members here who are also members in other sites, this being the case, there's always the possiblity that someone "borrow" an image for one site and post it on another site. Can be from CS to another site or the other way round.
AFAIK ... the FHM model incident did occur ... But i think that should be laid to rest ....
Now a more recent case would be of course the famous HK actor - Edison Chen and all his slew of girlfriends ....
On a further dig ... i think the person who put the advert in sammyboy should be quite familiar with CS ....

We can refer to the FHM girl case as an example but best not to drag names in. There is no need to force out the names of the people involved. Just take it as a general example. Even if we take away that issue from consideration, we can still discuss about having guidelines for organisers to follow.

Since there's so much doubt on the existence of the FHM case, then lets just leave it out as suggested, and not use that as an example to bolster any points. Besides, whatever is done in that case, if really occured, has nothing to do with the forum administrators or how the forum is run.
all i have to say is why is this an issue being raised with the forumers when its quite obvious ts should be engaging the admin and mods directly?

esp since its obvious that the community at large doesn't seem to have a problem with the way the organizers run their shoots.
why all this drumming on one example? got nothing else substantial or of substance to offer? it is obviously a logical fallacy to paint things over-simplistically by representing the fhm example as the one and sole thing holding up the whole concept that threadstarter is talking about. ludicrous to say, oh, fhm example not valid, let's find another thing that works or threadstarter's point is thrown out of the window.
so if i make a statement that i felt a raindrop around the corner, are you going to say that it absolutely won't rain because my head isn't even wet?
see the other thread. if "community at large" probably refers to the majority of people who actually participate in the sleazy-themed photoshoots.. then the point is conceded. otherwise, i see no reason why the organisers have to resort to such methods. modelinn has very innocent, down-to-earth names, for an example, and i hate to say this, but it seems that you also get what you pay for.

Yup, anyone got her contact ? I mean, she is being advertised as a nude model in there. Kinda sad to see someone is doing this kind of thing.
you can find her on model mayhem...and i think she is a nude model so i dun see how this is a big deal...of course i could be mistaken about the nude model thing.

If anyone goes to the "Services Wanted Section" to take a look ... there is a new member (Post Count = 1) almost every otherday looking for nude/lingerie model for private shoot .... What does that say about CS? Have we become a sourcing ground for nude model / lingerie and bikini XMM ?
These are brand spanking new members ... they may not be new to photography or they may have a damn impressive portfolio that they do not want to show here ... But i seem to smell something fishy ...
