Sony A7/(r) image sharing thread #3

Just want to share a quick square filters stacking test for my Voigtlander 12/5.6 V.2 M mount via customized adapter and holder. There is some light leak at the below area due to misaligned the gasket with the Haida 3.0 but overall quite ok I think.

Thank you. Here is the photo of the set-up. This is the first set-up this guy made modular as per my request so that I can use one common holder for both VC 12/5.6 and VC 21/1.8 as well as any traditional lens with filter ring. However, look like it need to improve a bit to make it work better and I need to feedback to him after he come back to work after the New year holiday. All made from plastic (to make it as small and light as possible) except the ring to connect the adapters to the holder are from aluminum aircraft grade (to make it strong enough).

Please take note that the built-in hood of the VC 12/5.6 V.2 is connected to the front section of the lens and it is not very strong. It should not be used with heavy holder and/or filter system as well as handle with extremely care when changing filter (to avoid putting any load on it). One of my friend got damage to the front part of his VC 12/5.6 V.2 due to using the Benro holder and his DIY adapter. Hope it help.

Hey cactibin, nice ones from the CV12!
Just curious. From your pics, do you include post-processed vignetting or is the effect from the CV12?

Thought that it would have been much better with the A7S?

Hi dickmann88,

Thanks!

I have used a ND filter and hence there will some vignetting.

Post-processed wise, only slight sharpening and adjusting of exposure.

These are all shoot in JPEG.

Cheers!

For ultra wide and large format, it is quite popular! I saw many company sell the GND center filter for their large format lens to deal with the vignetting. The vignetting is also boosted up when using very dark ND filter as well. I'm trying to utilize this vignetting as special effect! :)

ah, yes. This guy is selling custom adapters and holders for different lenses. Similar design as my set, there is also an adapter for the VC 15/4.5 M mount.
