This probably will be the very first joined product between Pentax and Ricoh, think from here you'd have some idea about the new coming dSLR camera 
And it's the one after this one that would be the most interesting, to me and many others I guess
For now, K30 is still the best camera you can buy for less than $900 ...

Don't know about competitors, but if what Benjamin Karnek hints at is true, its going to be a damn fantastic camera.
Fuji X-pro1 type sensor capability with the small size of a Pentax DSLR and the better AF and handling.
I'm only afraid I'll end up with 2 new cameras

I can only imagine how I'd feel like prematurely retiring my Kr; MF + Focus Peaking + Articulating Screen + WR + stupidly good sensor...

The best thing to do now is to take a rest from Clubsnap, Facebook, Pentaxforum, dpreview,...for a few days,
I think all of us suffering from INFORMATION OVERLOAD N developing symptoms of DIGITAL FATIGUE.
After a few days relaxation , then come back for more NEWS.
