Was in Taipei for work realted travel back in Mar. A friend brought me to Palace Museum and Yang Ming Shan on a weekend. Here are some pictures to share:

After visiting the Palace Museum we went to Yang Ming Shan for the flower season (阳明山花季).

It was the blossoming time for the Sakuras, and the taxi driver insisted on bringing us on a slightly longer route to show us a very special Sakura tree which he claimed is different from al the other Sakura trees on Yang Ming Shan. He was so excited and kept telling us how lucky we are to have taken his taxi. I really had high hopes for this special tree, but when we got there I felt it was somewhat an anti-climax. I'll let you judge for yourself:
