Some shots from my New Zealand Trip

Hello all,

Like to share some shots from my recent trip to New Zealand, South Island, came back last Sunday. THAT PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL!! Totally middle earth, especially along the east coast! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm not exactly following the proper procedures for taking proper landscape shots. No tripods, some shots taken in a hurry as there are people waiting in the tour guide...etc.

The weather was luckily FANTASTIC too, light clouds and sun was out in full.

All shots taken on my D7000, C&C welcomed!

@Milford Sound. If you're going south islands, you MUST visit this place. Just be warned the roads close early, prone to closures due to landslides. If not planned well you'll not be able to visit, or getstuck there if you missed the road closure timing. We almost could not visit this wonderful site.

Some shots taken while on the road.

It's best if you rent a car and drive, there are numerous "pit stops" along the roads for people to stop their cars to take some shots. Driving in NZ is fun. :thumbsup:

Was hoping to get those kind of shots of rolling mountains with different shades of grey, didnt't get them though. But I thought the overall pic was looks good.

Ey thanks! So far I find the kit lens to be flexible enough, most importantly it's light too. Didn't want to hike / cycle / kayak with heavy gear...
