Slide scanner

Hi, heard that there's such a thing as a slide scanner.

If so, how much would one cost and is it any good? Will the pics be almost the same as the slides?

Anyone have any recommendation on a good and cheap slide scanner if there's such a thing.

are you looking for delicated film scanner or flatbed scanner with

You mean flatbed also can scan film or slides?

Hmmmm.... I really don't know... Am new to this scanner thingy... What's the pros and cons of both?
