My 350D's shutter also jamed before, if you would like to try last resort before send and pay for replacement.. you can search if anyone offer guide on dismantling D200 and fix the shutter yourself.

I was lucky to find someone offer IR DIY guide with pictures, pretty idiot-proof, which I follow the steps till I can access the shutter and fix it for good.
