Subatoyo, Rexer?

Happy New Year

May I know what was the lens you were using to shoot that 2 birds?
A 150mm~500mm Pentax or Sigma with adapter to your EM10?

I am interested in zoom lens for M4/3 for birding photography.

Thank You
EisMann

I am Rexer.:) It is a Pentax mount Sigma 150-500mm with a pk mount to m43 adaptor on Em10.

Shot with the new MZD40-150mmf2.8Pro with E-M1

Wow wow, the 40-150mm IQ looks good to me! Still waiting to get mine from 2nd pre-order. Between sharing this Violet Cuckoo which is still pulling quite some crowd in JEG. Taken with 300mm F2.8 on EM1, but looks like this setup is not for long!

Ya ricleo and pehch4e, it is a perfect lens for birding. Except for searching the birds, shooting them is easy, fast and accurate even for a newbie in birding photography like me.
Hope to find other variety of birds soon.

Bro,this 300 mm f2.8 lens is stunning, love the detail and rendering, even better than those big cannon from n ,c brand which cost 4 times more.

Common Zebra but love how the fluffy feathers are captured

Top league lens at f4 420mm! Few lens will be its match! Birding at this focal will improve your skills on movement and concealment. Nothing beats getting close. Can't wait for 300mm f4!

Thanks... unfortunately this lens is not that cheap, which is why I guess Oly failed to get the E-system user hooked into it for birding.
