Yeah.. the 1st 2 images of the camera have been taken with my LX3
and the rest have been compressed when I uploaded to Picasa..

I do agree that the speed of the lens makes night photography tricky... but I actually find its limitations can be quite expressive..
that being said I've only been using the setup for less than a week now.. and those images are from my first night time walkaround..

@ME109, the IQ of that 18-135 definitely looks worse that kit 18-55

Low light shots hand held is not a strength of a variable aperture zoom like the 18-135.
Can't eliminate user handling as well.

the 18-135mm is proving to be an excellent walkabout lens.. Nice for portrait work even at night with a flash.. I'd like to pick up a fast 55mm prime lens at some stage to compliment the zoom..
