I can't say SG's transport is world class, but it can be improved lor.

I hit 2 buses on CNY period whereby the aircon like machiam heater, often the popular routes need double deck buses but they provide single deck, just nice can squeeze until full but very uncomfortable.

Cleanliness is terrible, cockroaches, dirty oiled windows, torn bus seats, leaking roofs. And maintenance they call it.

The only plus thing is that the train/bus will always be on-coming. At least compared to Japan... SG is not bad liao...
