SD to CF adapter

Well the other option is to get a new HD storage that accept SDHC...

will be a good idea to bring along a loaded SDHC card and your portable device to try out before buying provided the retailer allows you to.

my older SD-to-CF adapter cannot recognise SDHC format. it allows up to 2gb SD cards.

If buying online , there is no way to check it out.

Have been hunting around in Singapore from Camera shop to computer shop.
No one have the have the SDHC to CF adapter.
With the exepction of Active, they have a SD to CF, but did not buy.

Some update, manage to get one from SLS and tested with a SDHC it works well with my Cam.

They have brought in the SD to CF adapter card ( SDHC also )
S$35.00

Have yet to try it out.

I saw a few pices in a shop in Funan 5th floor, can't remember the name of the shop but can describe how to go to the shop:

There is a big shops corner shop selling Apple stuffs at the 5th floor Funan, 3 shops from its left, I saw a few pieces, shoule be selling either $29.2 or $39.9, it works with SDHC.

In photographic terms $35 is not very expensive, but comparatively speaking, it's almost the price of a new 8GB CF card ($40+?). Makes very little economic sense to get one unless i have a lot of SDHC cards and need to share them across cameras that use SD and CF.

A SDHC card claims to be 30mb/s.
Going through a SDHC to CF card, will the speed be affected by the CF card?
If so will the impact be negliable or significant?
