Scotland looks to Singapore's independance for its independance.

We should be proud that we could set such fine example.

We came out stronger and better.

But there were rumors of wanting to revert to Malaysia too ................ just wondering what the new England flag could have looked like.

They can't stomach the working style of our LKY. Protest riots will be on streets.
That's the primary root of all problems these western countries are having. Too much.freedm and too much human rights.
If LKY today tell the Scots to have ISA,detention without trial charge. U will see protests on the streets
Or not to have unemployment benefits?
Or to have death penalty fo capital charges?

Before you judge you should understand the history and background. Sweeping statements about 'too much freedom' only reveal your shortfall here.

So where is the referendum for Northern Ireland who has been literally dying to merge with the Republic of Ireland since decades ago when the The Troubles began in the 1960s coming along?

And what is with conducting the largest military training exercise for the British Army in Northern Ireland since the Her Majesty's Armed Force (HMAF) Operation Banner deployment ended on the 31st of July 2007 while voting for the Scottish independence referendum is in progress? Bunch of double standards hypocrites...

From what I hear, it would never happen. There are still groups in Northern Ireland with stocks of personal arms, and the Irish Government is in no mood to take in a small corner of the island that would add a burden to their existing already bad economy.
