maybe it's some kind of parallel import, export set, meant for certain market? :dunno: safest is to check with Sandisk? do they have some kind of office locally?

they don't seem to have a distributor list on the main site.

search for sandisk singapore gives vector magnetics as first hit.

btw, all the cards there look different from what is usually seen. extreme is not extreme III, just extreme, etc....

I suppose they will, cos I always patronize their shop at Funan...
If they try to deny... then I guess I do not have a choice.

cybermind is listed as an authorised sandisk dealer by vector magnetics. so it should be legit, so change your receipt. don't worry so much, so far it seems correct and you haven't been cheated, just got a bum receipt.

BT I saw Kingston selling 16GB SDHC Card also, any different in the performance as oppose to Sandisk Ultra II 16 GB?

I bought this Sandisk 16GB SDHC card at $69, however Kingston is selling at $47
The pricing is not only $22 different but warranty wise kingston is lifetime warranty sandisk is 2 yrs...

Anyway I am getting the Sandisk as I read that it is up to 15 MB/S, but looking at it further, it seem like it is more for transfer speed...
I guess is my fault for not doing too much research before I bough it.

I am rushing for the purchases As I need it for tml morning.

The package do come with vector magnetics sticket. I guess it should be fine.
I just went to check and it seem like there is no Kingston Product stated as 16GB ULTRA II SDHC memory card. I guess I could just ask for an change for the receipt.

What left pending is how come there is no labeling with the "II"

Most impt next time when you buy anything chk your receipt.
Keep your packing for future warranty claim. Vector is at funan, you may go there to ask.
Any problem still can go down to Comex.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I guess I will just call and clarify with them in the morning.
I'm trying to avoid to go back to comex just to get the receipt corrected should the Card is genuine and ok also.

I am working somewhere near to Funan and was thinking of getting the correction done on the receipt on weekday.

i confirmed with 2 booths selling Sandisk SDHC ultra cards, that the cards are original and Sandisk changed the package don't for what reason. so no worries.

Sounds fishy though. I've never seen a Sandisk SD card with that wordings without the II for that case.
