Photo was taken during a trip in Beijing along a road side store at night.

4. Thread-starter's personal thoughts about the image.
i shoot the photo darker and also without flash to enhance the mood of the night. The only lightings are the street lights and the hanging light bulb that the stall used for work. However, while on my home pc monitor, the photo was darker tone, when i view with my company laptop, the dark areas appear brighter and the skin tone was lighter.

Only adjusted the levels to darken the photo slightly and also reduce a bit of over saturation of red. No cropping was done.

wow yummy looking ! I like scenes like this.... may i suggest you wait a little longer and do other variations to catch a look at the face and with a little more forward-facing action ?

You can also try shooting at Lau Pa Sat, at night, while those people are grilling the satay.
It could be much easier than this.
