Replacement for sony 707

Thinking of getting Sony 707 soon, Any news from sony
that a new model is comming out to replace this current model?

The 707 hasn't been on the market for very long so I guess a replacement in the near future is not lightly. However, it's a known trend that digital cams get replaced faster than film cams so its pretty impossible to keep up with the latest and greatest, unless you're a technophile.
