The correct answer is Kodachrome. Originally released in 1935 for 16mm movies, 35mm and 8mm versions appeared a year later. The film is now apparently discontinued. It uses the proprietary K-14 process (as opposed to the commonly used E6). Kodachrome is known for its longetivity.
