Found this ant hidden among 2 leaves on the trip to Pasir park. Shot using a Sigma 180mm macro len. this is the closest i can get atm...

Any way i can make this better ?? Thanks

0.46m from the sensor... i borrow this from a friend, so its the 1st time im using this len also. think my expectation was a bit different.

I used a 550ex with omnibounce and set ISO for this shot as the ant is hidden between 2 leaves. a macro ring flash will be more suitable in this case, but im lucky to get enough light between the leaves

It's an excellent macro shot. Nothing much more i can do to improve the composition except maybe i'd try not to include the distracting highlight at the top right corner of the pic. :thumbsup:
