New to the forum...
From Aus - Oy Oy Oy... etc
But do you think photogs from the K100d have a dead/bland look..?
Lifeless... under-exposed: lacking vitality..?
My latest acq is the K100d - and so far I am underwhelmed at the quality...
The kit lens (18-50 F3.5-5.6) is a dissapointment... Or is my technique to blame..?
I also have a Sigma 70-300 F4-F5.6 APO which produces MUCH better results.
Maybe I am still learning the exposure characteristics of this Pentax... If so, then I will have to learn more...
I have tried Av Tv M P Auto... Exposure sees to be a problem...

Can't seem to reproduce what I saw with my eyes...
And I see K100d images on this thread the same as I see mine...
Flat... lacking vitality...
Is it ME - or my monitor..?

Either your expectation is too high, or we are not good enough yet to do some justice to the excellent K100D camera We all need to practice more and learn how to use our gear well to get better photos. Our gear shouldn't be blamed for the bad photos we get
