Hi Guys!

Pns user of the Lx5 here. really love the colours from the ia mode. BUT BUT BUT, when taking people, the camera automatically selects portrait mode( the face icon) which i totally dun like coz not punchy, too soft.

anyone knows if its possible to OFF this mode.

Hello Guys!

My first post and my first shoots with the LX5. I never had such a great camera. Actually I never took much photos before. I'm a real noob in this, but i love the cam!! Deceided to go for the LX5 cause a DSLR is to big for me. I see I have a lot to learn but its fascinating...

I need some advise from LX5 users here.

If I need to take pictures of candi shoots indoor (not bright environment and objects are moving),
what settings should I set?
I tried appreture mode, f2, iso 1000, flash light off, and it turn out that it is still not fast enough to get a sharp picture. it is still dark , and can see noises. If i use the speed mode and turn up the speed, the pictures get too dark. I want to avoid using flash because it is surppose to be candi shoots, taking the nature expression of people.

wish to take nice happy pictures of my friend in her ROM.
