Yes, sam its me. You need to have a dedicated macro lens for sure and extension tube if possible for higher magnification. and if its night macro, some additional torchlight beside flashlight.;)

Nice!

If you can sell off the K30, then the K3 is the best one out there.
But on a budget, I do think K5IIs is great value if you do not need the improvements of the K3.

thanks for the recommendations!
probably get a K3... doesn't seem justified to get K5II now that the K3 has so much improvements :bsmilie:

Tried out new 43mm today on the streets. :D

f/3.5, ISO100, 1/50s

f/1.9, ISO200, 1/60s

f/1.9, ISO400, 1/15s

Liking it so far. :)

I almost can't believe that last shot came out sharp at 1/15 on a 43mm handheld. All hail in-body SR.

I haven't used the K5II but just using it for a while I can tell you that if you use select AF point... The new interface is much better.. Don't have to stupidly wait and press OK for 2 seconds to switch between select AF point and changing WB, timer, etc..

And of course, the dual card slots..

More shots from Dubai with the K5 and 10-24mm Tamron

I like how your watermark makes it look like part of the shot. :bsmilie:

K30; DA15ltd

I've tried 28mm equivalent and its always just short of being wide enough for scenes in SGP (ie. packed; modern housing/architectural)
But the DA15ltd seems 'just right' for me to usually manage to squeeze in enough.
Of course it they made a 12mm prime, it would be much better.
