The difference is the latter becomes the latter first. :bsmilie:
but at least the latter get the chance to become the latter; the former may or may not. It is always a blessing to be able to be old, in age but not complexion, of course.

Arnold Patrick Spencer-Smith
Official photographer of Ross Sea Party Expedition in 1914-1917. Died in Antartic 1917.
The exposed photos he took were in a small box of 22 exposed but unprocessed photographic negatives, frozen in a block of ice for nearly 100 years. These negatives were discovered recently, processed and restored.

Narciso Contreras
Born in Mexico City in 1975.
He won Pulitzer prize.

Unfortunately his subconscious may have over-ridden his conscious mind. Maybe his subconscious felt that photographs must be "beautiful" and cannot have a camera sticking out in one corner of the frame. This is the trouble arising from misuse of photo editing software.

Of course News Organisations cannot accept this; because if it became widespread practice, then everyone would question whether future "news photos" are true or fake. Slight adjustment of exposure/brightness/contrast may be alright.
