Dana Stone
War Photographer during Vietnam War.
He was captured on April 6, 1970 along with Sean Flynn (son of movie star Errol Flynn). MIA and presumed killed.

He opened a studio in 1948 and specialized in portraiture. He is recognised as the father of African photography.

He used a 13"x18" camera. His photo prints were extremely detailed and sharp.

Arnold Patrick Spencer-Smith
Official photographer of Ross Sea Party Expedition in 1914-1917. Died in Antartic 1917.
The exposed photos he took were in a small box of 22 exposed but unprocessed photographic negatives, frozen in a block of ice for nearly 100 years. These negatives were discovered recently, processed and restored.

Narciso Contreras
Born in Mexico City in 1975.
He won Pulitzer prize.

Unfortunately his subconscious may have over-ridden his conscious mind. Maybe his subconscious felt that photographs must be "beautiful" and cannot have a camera sticking out in one corner of the frame. This is the trouble arising from misuse of photo editing software.

Of course News Organisations cannot accept this; because if it became widespread practice, then everyone would question whether future "news photos" are true or fake. Slight adjustment of exposure/brightness/contrast may be alright.
