photo shooting in Sungei Buloh...

What lens u have?

me currently only hav nikon 28-80mm G lens... if things go well, den tml i will go buy the 70-300mm G lens oso... shld be sufficient for the trip. don't intend to start macro yet... think i brush up on my current skills first... now still like v lousy... haha... compare with other members here ah... really nth to say... :embrass: btw, i using nikon F75. bought it few weeks ago...

Do not be worried over nothing to shoot in Sungei Buloh.
In the morning, we might want to tackle macro subjects and
the low tide wetlands before the sun comes out, By 0830hrs,
we might want to tentative stop for a break.

From 8.45am, if you all are agreeable, I could lead you folks to
the prawn farms where the rangers will be performing a live
demo of the traditional prawn farming process. This demo is
done only once in every quarter and is an eye-opener for us
folks living in high rise bricks and stone buildings.

Along the way there, we will also come arcoss a natural lily
pond where we can normally find monitor lizards basking....

No problems at all. I shot 30 plus shots during a prawn watch last year.
But there are always a lot of people around during such demos. so you might have to squeeze yourself into the crowd to get the angles you want.

Oh... so i see u bought the F75 package. That's good for a starter. For me, i have my old work hourse, the 28-85mm, a 90mm macro (which i used mostly for my aquatic shot), and my big cannon zoom Camera wise, i am using the D100

haha... ya loh... F75 shld be sufficient for a long time to come... unless i opt to go digital... but that will be after NS... use their salary to buy camera... thats 2 years from now... by then digital photography shld be more "stable" liao... and DSLR oso cheaper!! haha...

now jus want to go sungei buloh to see what i can shoot...

ideally
two flash or ring flash or a defuser cap for the flash - these yield results compared to a single flash with a bounce card

me previously made a bounce card for my 500dg super. bought myself a ommi bounce. seriously, i still prefer my bounce card (in terms of result) but its a little bit hard fitting it in my bag so i used ommi bounce instead. i can bring it down for you to see. but if you wan, i can make 1 for you b4 the shoot. cos i got extra material that use to do tt bounce card left.
