Perth and Western Australia

Joined a local 5 day Australian tour deep into south west of western Australia made up of international tourist and backpackers to western Australia and all the way to Esperance, this is picture intensive,
only manage to process it up to day 5 for now.The remaining 3 days are on my own, not much pictures taken for remaining days as have to accompany my wife for shopping after spending time with mistress in a bag.

3.Busselton Jetty, ever so beautiful on postcard but raining while i was there, that sucks! but i like the moody feel that i get anyway.

6.A nice sunset but a really cold and windy one.

7.Surf Break , climbing over rocks here and there again with over 6kg on me.

8.Dawn - Just outside Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.

10.Surf Break near Margaret River, this woman is taking a dip in the ice cold winter stormy waters.
I wouldn't even want to put my feet in icy water.Taken with my super heavy but sharp lens at 200mm.

14.Albany - The Gap.was climbing over various rocks, its a bit dangerous, if you fall, you most likely die

15. Castle Rock climb- This is a difficult shot as i have trek all the way up and tired by then and wind is really strong such that i can only hold my camera with one hand, the other hand got to hold something.

16.Took me 40 minutes to reach the top, another trek the next day up french man's peak.Resting while taking a shot.

The grey skies were difficult, exposure issues all the time on the sky or the ground.Did a couple of shots with ND grads, and every other ND filters i have for shot 1. Have not tried HDR before yet but since i shoot in raw, i did a blend of 2 different exposure for some shots. Did not have a lot of time to shoot for each location and no time to setup tripods on high and rocky surfaces, after all its a tour.

Winter is certainly a time for grey clouds but possibly great pictures as well.

Thank you, notice we carry almost the same range of lens except the 5D II, my next buy i hope. Taken a paranomic as well of the same scene but got to find time to process.

Got to take some risks to get the composition, most people don't dare to climb over multiple rocks and go up near to the edge although many have been to the same place but standing afar . Have to be careful of pitfalls in the rocks, strong chilly winter winds and big waves that could sweep you away.

The rest, just 2 exposure blending.

Its tough journey, waking up early,the stay at hostels, helping out to cook meals etc, . Traveled 1000's of km alone just for south western australia and i have not even gone to the north on central yet haha. Maybe next time round. Take care.

Lucky bay looks stunning! The 5d2 is a :thumbsup: choice, you wont regret getting it, being canon's most value for money body with the features you get.

Got to save first. Its Enough money to go on a holiday haha. Luckily my old 400D is still trustworthy as i heading to Vietnam next.

It is, when you are there, it just is paradise. Still different from photos.
