Pentaxians May 2012 Outing - Singapore River Walk on 12 May

Hi All,

Let's continue what we couldn't finish during last outing, and hope the weather would be in our favor this time But we'd have a plan B (TBD) in place if the weather is bad again.

PLAN A

Date: 12 May 2012
Time: 8:30am onwards
Venue: Singapore River (from Alexandra Canal Linear Park to Esplanade)
Meetup: Kofu Kopitiam at Dawson Place in Queenstown (5min walk from Queenstown MRT

Plan: meetup at Dawson Place Kopitiam around 7:30 to 8:30 for breakfast and chitchat. Start off at 8:30am. Start from Alexandra Canal Linear Park, walk along the river all the way to Esplanade area. There are all kinds of stuff to shoot (buildings, bridges, plants, bugs and etc), and it's a very nice and easy walk (around 5km) as shown in the following pic (the center river line):

Please join us if you can. This is gonna be a very fun outing.

Street photography in Chinatown area. Meet up at Chinatown Point MRT around 8:30am. That's if the weather is really bad in the morning.

Meetup at Dawson Place Kopitiam around 12:00 to 1:00pm for lunch and chitchat. Start off at 1.30pm from Alexandra Canal Linear Park......
For me....I head for home to prepare for overseas trip the next day....:bsmilie:
