First time seeing a National flag inside a Church, they even sang our National Anthem as their final song

Gotta say it surprised me.
Its a first time I've heard/seen it being sung in a Church.

Too bad about the mass, but the atmosphere with the hymns was real nice.

Liked the setup except for the lack of a long lens to shoot those stained glass and statues that were higher up.

Too bad politics and no U-turn syndrome had to rear its ugly head at this site.
I wouldn't even post a pict of this place (not too unique photographically for me) if they hadn't asked me not to

Its plain stupid to me over this irrational fear of photos being taken of such places.
Firstly, its easily available on the internet.
I just typed "Singapore Synagogue" and its the first on the search.
Secondly, there are just so many mediums of capture (many covet ways) that anyone with bad intent can get more and better picts.
Thirdly, I think an attitude of openness brings better understanding than a "shoo shoo... " response.
"This is my house, this is what we do here, do look around" can bring much better understanding than " No No Bo; Go away"

Thanks to all who came for the outing, good to see some old and new friends there. We sure had some chitchat and shooting fun. The walk was nice, the food was fantastic.
