I scare the bridge too many photog.

to what I know for now, the reclaim land will be block off for official use.
if you are driving there, there is a risk that you can't go in and then divert to drive all the way to rochor exit.

after shooting, they packed up and leave with police escort...

Go get a tripod and shoot shoot...
BTW, what cam you using?

U can walk to the reclaimed land via the bridge, from there its just a short walk to marina park under the bridge.

from the last fireworks a few of us lumixers went...it is better to position as far away as possible.
too near and you will miss alot and get many "out of frame" shots.
far is not a problem, you can always zoom and the composition will be better too...

do u mean parking @ marina south, around carpark A, walk to the shore, head towards the reclaimed land under the sheares bridge,..etc?. how long is the walk?i 'measure' on the street directory...around 800meters?

anyone can confirm if driving is possible to the reclaimed land?

anyone can confirm if can walk from marina bay mrt to sheare bridge, the reclaim land if block then this route will be out.

Too lazy to climb that stair.it seem a longer route.

i not sure if by parking at the carpark then walk need how long or how far.. but i am sure by the time u finish the shooting, the route back is sure damn dark and u r too lazy liao.. before that, not sure if the route under the bridge is sealed..

as for driving to the reclaimed land, from wat dominator say, cannot.. but i have tried last sat and i will be going there again tomolo.. so no confirm..

my guess is the route from marina mrt to the bridge is much much longer than climbing...actually, if wan to walk to the bridge, u need to cross the big big reclaimed land, cross at least 3 big big long-gang, then u can see the small stairs up the bridge provided it is not sealed by the authority..

hope this help..;)

I think the gun is called 25 pounder. Actually, it's refering to the weight of the round (meaning the weight of each bomb shell & don't get me wrong this time). I think? It's the British term of naming this big gun back in World War II?:dunno:
Almost forget, thanks for the info dude.

Wow.. time really flies and it's another year already...
For those who need some tips, I wrote an article last year
http://computertimes.asia1.com/handson/story/0,5104,2683,00.html

I just wished that they can start firing earlier so that the sky is not totally dark, like
