wonglp not gonna do a review on it ma?.. hee
spread the poison!..

Personally if I dun have O75 and have spare cash, I will jump for this lens. I still like the portability of 75 for day to day use. For travel and events, 40-150 quick, versatility and IQ is unbeatable. P35-100 pales in comparison. But I am saving for O7-14, that's the Pro lens that I really want as the focal length is what I use 80% currently. Will post some shots when time permits, really quite busy recently. Do have a flickr album here if it helps:)

think its not opinions that we are lacking.. its the stocks level of this lens. heh

haha true.

Sorry yes from Japan .. limited internet since I'm always moving .. both bic camera and yodabashi sells at that same price .. as for warranty .. Not really an issue for me.. oh well I'm coming back in January again .. again I apologise for the confusion since the typing with phone also limited and I didn't proof read :p

I got mine from Japan as I happened to be there recently. BIC giving an additional 5% off if you pay by Visa. However I think you'll be better off by using cash instead as the exchange rate for credit card is usually worse off and you won't know the final price until it shows up on your statement.

To be able to use at tele end, gotta stand really far, the results can be very nice though. Shot during the crossing bridges event in South korea of one participant nice enough to be my model, with the colourful autumn leaves as background bokeh

Wide open at 142mm.

Loving every moment of using this lens.

Took the 40-150mm f2.8 out for portrait shooting this morning... love the bokeh at 150mm :) lens go very well with EM-1 with grip, but carrying the lens for 2 hours was tiring... Retractable lens hood works like magic :)

I'm used to carrying around my Nikon FF DSLR and trinity lenses. Carrying around the EM-1 and this lens the whole day is a breeze in comparison.

I know what you mean.. I went into m4/3 because the system is light and compact. Well, now at least I can move away from using 2 bodies with 2 primes :)

I've been carrying this lens with EM1 around for the whole day and it's really light.

This lens is a perfect match with the EM-1 which continues to surprise me with its high ISO capability. Now I can set the upper limit of the Auto ISO at 2500 without any reservation.

I set my auto ISO to 3200 and still yield low noise. Tried 6400 and I have to reduce the noise in post.

In general I don't go beyond ISO3200 when shooting with MFT unless necessary :)
