makes me wonder how his kid is getting treated in school because of his actions.

It is definitely illegal in the eyes of the Singapore law to download copyright material. However, Odex have shoot their own legs for bad publicity. I am confident that Odex will get to sue all their listed downloaders successfully and get their monies - they may have win this battle, but they have lost the war.

simple. kids have no financial support to hire lawyers to fight for them. and usually its a one to one case fight.
i've seen the anger at hwz there. and of course, i think the gahmen should step in. and its time for them to do some work.
