Hi all, I am using the Nikon D50 with its kit lens.

I realised that at some point in time, I am unable to click the button to shoot.
Is it because the camera is unable to focus, that's why it's not capturing...
Or is it because of other problems?

yes, when the camera is not able to achieve focus, it will not shoot unless you put the AF to Manual focus mode.

If the camera is unable to achieve a focus lock, it wont allow you to take a picture. You can remedy it by using a af assist, aiming at a object with better contrast or setting to manual.

unable to focus lock

memory is full

low bat

are some of the reasons for unable to release the shutter.

for unable to focus, you can find a nearby subject (same distance) and lock the focus, recompose and shoot, or switch to manual focusing and shoot.

ohhh....i tot it was something wrong with the camera....
thanks for the help!
