I know never pay TV tax (or was it license) can get fined, DUN HAVE TV also can get fined?! :dunno:

MDA is really too much.

My wife recently ordered a korean drama serial from overseas and they retained it. It is ok if they want to check for porn stuff and such but the system is soo stupid.

My wife had to go all the way down to sign a consent form for them to open the parcel. Then wait a week and then go all the way back to collect the DVD. Two trips just to get the DVD. Can't they allow us to fax in the form and then mail the DVD to us?

Like that I have to order my DVDs in BULK else two trips/disc is like....

i remember when i was young, my parents brought my to m'sia to buy some cartoon tapes. at the customs, the custom officer confiscated the tapes for "screening"...

when we collected back the tapes, guess what? all the tapes were still in the original wrappers, untouched, AND WE HAD TO PAY THE "CENSOR" FEE....#%$^&*(

On another note , what about those living in 1 or 2 room flats who don't have TV, and are not educated to write in and declare they have no TV. Are they being fined? I bet you they are. Way to go MDA , make money from the poor and uneducated.
