Hi all, here's another one for comments and criticism

Did i manage to capture the mood of getting a tattoo? like the typical stereotype of tattoos being done in dark, dingy places etc.

title doesn't quite fit the photo, sorry...
Titles like such depicts to tell a story in the photo, cos it is an adjective to describe a feeling. Thus a compare and contrast might be a good idea. Example.. Show the person's face. His/her Expression.

Cheers

it's a literally clinical picture, i find no link between the picture and its title.

i think it'll be better if the light is warm/orangy, and if it shows more of the run down dingy place. Better if can show the tattoo being done and a drip of blood run down the skin :D

thanks for the comments so far..

for the title, my thought was to link the picture to the fact that tattoos are permanent so you better get it done with no regrets.

actually, it's a real tattoo being done after the outline was drawn using a pen. this is from a series of frames when the tat artist "drew first blood" (literally!)

was hoping to capture a squirt of blood, but none to be seen..

I think the title suits it well.
