Hmmm... why so many plpe happy that Nikon profit soars.... not as if we are going to get $$$ from Nikon if they do well....

like real.... more likely they get more money to spend on marketing, directors get richer.... but the poor production operator stay as poor as ever and consumers like us still get treated like robert..... :think:

On the contrary, Nikon is forecasting DSLR sales quantity to increase by 50% over previous quarter with sales revenue & operating profit to be also increasing. For normal digital sales camera, Nikon is estimating at 10% growth in quantity sold over previous quarter & increased operating profit despite flat sales revenue.

It is also interesting to note that Nikon mentioned that it produces out about 100,000 units of D70 DSLR every month.
